My name is Michael Colligan, and I'm an art director based in Toronto. My passion for creating comes from my deep love of sports. I have always been fascinated by the way that sports can bring people together. As fans, we experience the highs and lows of our favorite teams riding the emotional rollercoaster of each game or match and I have the opportunity of capturing and amplifying these moments through my designs.
Over the years, I have had the opportunity of bringing concepts to life in a diverse range of mediums, including TV, print, social media, and brand identity. One of the things I love about my job is the chance to work with a variety of clients, each with their own unique goals and challenges. I have had the advantage of collaborating with some amazing organizations, including Maple Leafs Sports and Entertainment, Mastercard, Lotto Max and Alpine Canada Alpin. Through these experiences, I have developed a strong understanding of how to create designs that resonate with audiences and achieve business objectives.
As an art director, I am committed to staying up-to-date with the latest trends and techniques in the industry. I am constantly seeking new sources of inspiration and experimenting with different styles and approaches. I believe that the key to success in this field is a willingness to learn and adapt.
